Up, Up, & Away! Warren’s First Class Airplane Theme Birthday Party
We were blessed with extra warm weather for Warren’s birthday, which made for such a fun day! Warren loves planes at this particular age and stage and often points them out while we are driving so it was only fitting to have an airplane theme birthday party for his 3rd birthday!

For the venue, we went to the Grand Rapids Airport viewing park and put together a few picnic tables so we could celebrate him while also watching planes take off and land. You can’t rent out the space, so we opted for me to go early and set things up, which worked out great. If you are planning an airplane theme birthday party at the viewing park at the airport, I would keep in mind that it is windy (learned this the hard way!) so extra balloon weights and taping down decorations may be necessary.
I wound up designing a quick invite on canva to look like a boarding pass for Warren Airlines, proudly serving 3 years.
I made a snack cart similar to what flight attendants offer, including drinks, pretzels, peanuts, and cookies. This turned out so cute!
I love the Big Dots of Happiness line of birthday party supplies, and got most of the decor and party supplies from them. The favor boxes turned out so cute! Each kid got a pair of aviators, binoculars to watch planes, and assorted treats and toys.
