An early Spring is predicted, and I am ready to bring out the preppy spring home decor!
With the changing of the seasons, I find myself wanting to change up my home decor as well. Much like my wardrobe, my home style is classic and coastal, preppy and neutral. I love mixing navy and white, gold and marble, and lots of stripes. If you have a general color palette you go with, your home flows well from room to room.
One of the easiest ways to make your home feel fresh for a new season is with decorative pillows. Just switching these up on your couch for the season can make your room feel new without investing a lot. I also like to switch out our decor on the mantel, bring in some new tea towels for the kitchen, and liven things up with some greenery. I’m often picking up some bundles from Trader Joe’s, but also love the look, dimension, and height that a faux fiddle leaf tree can bring to a space.
My goal is to make our home to feel light and bright, cozy and inviting. I’m rounding up some of my favorite preppy home decor finds from my favorite stores, including Serena & Lily, TJ Maxx/Home Goods, Target, and more.
I’m also sharing my favorite candle, which has become the unofficial official scent of House of Navy. While shopping in 30A this Christmas, I found this brand in the Seaside Style store and fell in love! My favorite scent is Marine. It is absolutely incredible, and if you know me, I am VERY picky about my candles.
Where do you like to shop for home decor? How would you define your style?
great job creating and organizing the blog, it was quiet amazing and useful…thanks for sharing.
