If you’re like me, a new year has me taking a closet inventory and wanting a wardrobe refresh! Even as a fashion blogger, I get stuck in a rut when it comes to putting together new looks. I was so excited when I heard about Allume!
Allume is a fashion styling service unlike others out there. They are all about helping busy women (moms especially) find amazing clothes, save time, and feel taken care of in the process. Allume offers personalized and shoppable outfit inspiration. They don’t hold any inventory, and because they work with tons of brands, you can be assured the looks are always on trend and the season’s newest releases.
Here’s how Allume Personal Style Service works:
Step 1. Take a detailed style quiz on Allume’s website. Here you can pick brands and stores you shop, silhouettes you like, colors you like to wear (or not), as well as price points you usually spend on specific items. You’ll also give some details about what you are looking for. This could be anything from winter style to job interview, gala or wedding guest, work wear, or just some cute casual looks. You can even upload your Pinterest board and a photo of you so that your stylist gets a great feel of your body type and style. Each styling session is $20 and comes with three looks, but I have a discount for 50% off!
Follow this link to get started and use code “DANA50” to get your styling session for just $10.
There’s no commitment to buy, but if you make a purchase after your styling session, your styling fee is waived, making it free!
After completing the style profile, I let my stylist know that I am looking for staple pieces that I can wear multiple ways. Having outfits that work for my day job as well as mom life can be tough for me!
Step 2. Match with a stylist who reviews your profile, style, and wish list. Your stylist will set up a styling session with you over text to present your three outfit lookbook.
Step 3. Check out your lookbook during your styling session with your personal stylist, and give feedback on anything you may like to change! Each outfit in the lookbook also comes with additional options with a similar look and feel, including shoes and jewelry, tops, and more. You can heart each item which is shared with your stylist, and come back to your favorites at any time.

Ava styled and edited for me based on colors and patterns and resent my lookbook. She was able to pull from brands and price points that I am familiar and comfortable with. There are pieces I want to add to my closet, but I can also create some of these looks using pieces I already own. Ava also selected several pieces from brands and stores that I don’t shop in or don’t live around. It is so nice to be introduced to these new ideas for future shopping!
I love this Sanctuary sweater dress from Revolve on look #3. Ava and I agreed the Boden belt from look #1 in a camel color would look amazing with it. I also know that I can wear it in a more casual way outside of work, paired with jeans and a tee.
