Thank you to Little Nomad for gifting us with the gorgeous foam play mat and inspiring this play room refresh. All opinions remain my own.
I blogged before about the before & after of our sunroom, one of my favorite areas of our home! This area, with its 11 windows, gets so much light and is a great space on our main floor. Canan just replaced the windows and we are excited to be able to enjoy the breeze this Spring and Summer.
This space is also our play area, since we do not have a finished basement or attic space. It’s been challenging but fun to come up with a design, plan, storage, and organization for this room to be both an adult space and kids play area. We decided to keep one half of the room as adult – our blue couch makes for a great lounging and reading area. The other half of the room is dedicated to toys, crafts, and all the things Leo loves to play with, with our Ikea bookshelves lining the front of the room for plenty of playroom storage to hold it all.
Little Nomad sent us the beautiful foam play mat to enjoy in this space. I absolutely love that the pattern is beautiful but functional for our family. I’ve only ever seen foam play mats in bright primary colors before, but love the soft, muted tones of this “feather” mat and how it almost looks like an heirloom rug instead of a foam play mat. It matches beautifully with the overall look and feel of the playroom area and ties in perfectly with our play kitchen too!
