Welcome to our home, House of Navy!
Our style is light and bright, navy and white. We adore stripes, polka dots, and everything coastal modern. #serenaandlily for life!
We’ve been working hard to restore our 100+ year old home over the past few months and are excited to show you our progress. We’ve put so much labor & love into making this house a home and are already creating lots of fun memories here. We’ve loved hosting my family and our friends for a housewarming, the family of the previous owner for a happy hour, and lots of fun nights with friends as well as just us.
Here’s the before photos of our white and navy kitchen:
We started on the kitchen as soon as we closed on the house. We were surprised by the chimney on day 1! We had to reevaluate our cabinets, and decided to refurbish it and leave the doorway open to the front of the house! I’m so happy with the result of our white and navy kitchen – one of my favorite views in the house is from the bar stools vantage point. Leo loves the opening too -he’s always running around in circles and he and mama play a LOT of hide and seek.
White and Navy Kitchen Coastal Modern Style
Our style is coastal and modern, old mixed with new, with lots of navy, white, and stripes thrown in.
I absolutely love how our kitchen turned out. We spend so much time in this space, and I finally got an island! Such a dream come true!
Canan has also trained Leo to get drinks out of the beverage fridge, so we’re getting a lot of laughs out of that.
I can’t link all of the products unfortunately, so please leave me a comment if you have questions on the cabinets, wall color, backsplash, flooring, or appliances!
I love the cabinets and color choice! We are looking at updating our cabinets. Where are these from/how did you update?
thank you! These can be purchased at Lowe’s actually! We did white uppers and midnight navy for the lowers and kitchen island. They are Wolf brand.
