One of the things that I immediately loved about the house was the extra room on the main floor off the dining room. I loved the idea of having a designated office space that didn’t need to be one of the upstairs bedrooms. There’s a ton of natural light in this room which makes it great for working at home.

We chose Benjamin Moore Nimbus Gray for the wall color. I love this color in the day time!
This desk is the desk my grandfather used to use. I love having a family piece in our house-it is so gorgeous. My desk is often a lot messier than this, filled with notebooks, my computer, a million notes, receipts, etc. Even though we share a google calendar, I also like being able to visualize our month and what’s going on (also spotted: baby’s ultrasounds!)
Desk essentials: notepad for quick thoughts, a great smelling candle (target), faux flowers (home goods), and small storage for business cards and thank you cards.
One of my favorite things in the office is this office chair I found at Home Goods. It is so comfy and completely gorgeous.
We have a small gallery wall made from Ikea Ribba Frames and small tea light candles. How cute is this print I found on etsy? Words to live by!
Eventually, we’d love to turn this wall into floor to ceiling built-in storage for books. For now, we have the smallest closet (which holds craft supplies) and this fun old register my dad found and painted.
This chandelier (wayfair) makes the room feel more feminine and I love the elegant light it gives off at night.
We’re working on the nursery now and can’t wait to share when we’re finished!
This is seriously way too cute! Love love love it! Its simple and elegant and a great place for productivity.
thank you!
