I was walking through Hobby Lobby the other day and saw a Christmas wreath for $600. I’m not kidding. That’s insane (even if you’re purchasing on the week that it is half off.) At both Hobby Lobby and Target, I’ve seen a number of ornament ball wreaths and knew I could make something similar for just a few dollars (and for a fun craft.)
All you need for this craft is a hot glue gun, some ornament balls, and a wreath base.
I went to The Dollar Tree and found a metal wreath and sets of ornament balls in different sizes. I used about 5-6 packages in varying sizes to make this. There’s really no trick to it, just start gluing! Once you have a good layer around the base, you can go back around and fill in with smaller ornaments as a second layer. Place it on a metal wreath hanger, add a ribbon bow, and you’re good to go!
Cute…and super thrifty! Way to go!
Gorgeous! I have a Dollar Tree walkable from my house, so I really want to try this.
let me know how it goes! I’d love to see it!
